Rachael Zeno, P.T., D.P.T.
Rachael is a physical therapist with Dee PT and specializes in post-operative rehabilitation, balance and gait training, neuromuscular re-education and motor control with the goal of preventing re-injury. As a former soccer player who sustained multiple injuries which benefited from physical therapy, she has a unique perspective on her area of focus. It has also helped her become more approachable for her patients and to help motivate individuals to move and feel more confident in their ability to manage and overcome their pain and disability. She has special interests in orthopedic and sports related injuries and post-concussion rehabilitation. Rachael also enjoys working with older adults on balance training to reduce their risk for future falls.
Rachael is a native Vermonter from a family with a maple sugarworks business where she still helps out in the spring. She attended the University of Vermont as an undergraduate where she studied Exercise and Movement Science. She then continued at UVM where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May of 2017. In the past she has worked with a variety of patient populations and is well equipped to address challenges throughout the lifespan.
Outside of work Rachael enjoys baking, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family and Newfoundland puppy.
