Physical Therapist, Integrative Dry Needling
Rachael is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) with Dee PT who specializes in post-operative rehabilitation and orthopedic and sports related injuries with the goal of preventing re-injury. She utilizes a combination of manual therapy techniques, Integrative Dry Needling, and progressive resistive exercises to help her patients return to pre-injury level of function.
She attended the University of Vermont as an undergraduate where she studied Exercise and Movement Science. She then continued at UVM where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017. In the past she has worked with a variety of patient populations and is well equipped to address challenges throughout the lifespan. She strives to help motivate individuals to move and feel more confident in their ability to manage and overcome their pain and disability.
Rachael is a native Vermonter who enjoys reading, hiking, and getting outdoors with her family and Newfoundland dog. She has recently taken up golfing and is enjoying the challenge of learning a new sport!
