Kirk Meier is a University of Vermont graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and treats patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions. He is passionate about spreading awareness of the benefits of exercise in combatting chronic disease and improving quality of life. He believes exercise is a crucial foundational element in improving health across all populations.
Kirk has an athletic background, playing a variety of sports growing up. He has previously worked as a youth rock climbing team coach and works as a personal trainer when he isn’t in the clinic. He now likes to focus on utilizing strength and conditioning concepts and ideas in his physical therapy treatments. He wants to empower his patients to feel that they are in control of their rehabilitation, using functional movements to build confidence and improve ability.
When Kirk isn’t working, he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, biking, Crossfit, rock climbing, and spending time with his English bulldog puppy.
