Exercise physiologist, Clinical Coordinator
Jason Fitzgerald is the Clinical Coordinator at Dee PT and an FMS Certified Exercise Physiologist where he teaches exercises to patients and manages daily operations of the clinic. His extensive background enhances his current position in many ways. He is also active during his free time where he enjoys running, hiking and biking as well as hanging out with his two children.
Jason received his BS in Exercise Physiology from Westfield State College in 1996. Since graduation he has worked in a variety of settings, including one of Vermont’s premier health clubs, at which he was the Fitness Director. Jason is certified with the National Federation of Professional Trainers and Functional Movement Screen, and has completed the TSAC program (Tactical Strength and Conditioning) through the NSCA, which was designed to train members on creating and implementing specific exercise programs for the tactical athlete (Military, Firefighters, and Police Officers).
A former college soccer player, Jason is a professional member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a member of the Vermont Concussion task force. He has been a guest lecturer for MVP Health Care, Fleet Feet No Boundaries Running Club, Vermont Technical College Nursing Program, Associates in Orthopedic Surgery, and the US Department of Homeland Security.
