Michala treats a variety of conditions including general orthopedic conditions, balance and gait impairments, and motor control impairments. As a former volleyball player who attended physical therapy herself, she strives to provide patient-centered care that will enable patients of all ages to accomplish their functional goals.
Michala graduated from West Virginia University Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended the University of Vermont where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in January of 2021. Having completed clinicals in multiple settings including outpatient orthopedic, occupational health, and long-term acute care rehabilitation, Michala brings a wide variety of experience to Dee Physical Therapy and has worked with patients throughout the lifespan.
Outside of work, Michala enjoys painting, hiking, playing volleyball and co-ed softball, and spending time with her family, cat, and dog.
