Erika is a physical therapist with Dee PT where her area of focus is general orthopedics. She enjoys helping patients to improve pain, function, and their overall quality of life. Erika approaches treatment with a patient-centered care approach, providing each patient with an individualized treatment plan based on their own personal goals and needs. She is passionate about providing patients with the tools to successfully navigate through their rehabilitation experience, providing education and emphasizing patient autonomy.
Erika earned her Bachelors’ degrees in Biology and Medical Technology from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island in 2013 and 2014, respectively. She later attended Midwestern University in Illinois, where she graduated and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020. Previously, she has worked with a wide variety of patients ranging from birth through adulthood with orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys reading, running, hiking, rock climbing, and cross-country skiing.
