Mike Dee

Mike DeeMichael C. Dee, P.T., C.S.C.S., NSCA: CPT

Mike received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical Center in May of 1986.

He has practiced in a variety of settings focusing on the evaluation and rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports related injuries. Shoulder, hip, knee, foot and ankle injuries are Mike’s specialty areas with an emphasis on exercise based treatments.

Mike’s Quote:

‘Each patient brings a new set of physical problems that provide me with unique and rewarding challenges. Teaching my patients about their injuries and how to get back to an active lifestyle through exercise is a personal and professional enjoyment’.

Mike grew up as an age group AAU swimmer, switching to distance running and cycling in Highschool. He has competed in six marathons with a PR of 3:01:58( Long Island Marathon 1987). He currently enjoys active cycling and running with friends and family.

Working with the Multisport athlete and the unique demands of each sport as they rehabilitate and return to competition has become Mike’s specialty area. He is an expert in endurance athlete rehabilitation and training. He also treats active scholastic aged competitor who plays different field and court sports.

Mike heads up the Dee PT team for medical Bike Fit Assessments , custom molded foot orthotics and the SPORTSMETRICS ACL Injury prevention program.
