Dee PT - South Burlington

Dee PT - South Burlington is located at 23 San Remo Drive just off Dorset Street. Located all on one level and a short walk from our handicapped accessable parking area, it is the most complete facility any free standing clinic can offer. We are across the street from the Associates in Orthopedic Surgery and down the block from the Good Health, Primary Care Physicians.

The South Burlington clinic is an open friendly atmosphere with plenty of private treatment areas. We have recently added 2000 square feet of exercise area complete with a therapeutic aquatic pool by Endless Pools. The Endless Pool provides a steady state current for regular swimming and adjusts for simple easy resistance during aquatic exercise. The pool is handicapped accessable, located in a separate room, has it’s own private shower and boasts the shortest walk, twenty feet from car to pool, of any therapy pool in Vermont. And all on one level!

The new space provides state of the art equipment from Keiser Fitness which allows variable resistance for any exercise. Resistance ranges from ¼lb up to 300lbs and is fully adjustable.

This space hosts VASTA - Vermont Athletic Sports Training Academy. Eric Corey, CSCS, NSCA: CPT, President and his staff are the most qualified personal trainers in Vermont. They train a number of regional and internationally competitive athletes. Our patients have the opportunity to work with VASTA after their course in physical therapy.

Group exercise classes, Pilates, Yoga and a variety of aerobic exercise devices including, treadmills, stationary bikes and elliptical trainers are offered in this clean and sun filled facility. We are equally as proud to be Vermont’s only P.T. clinic that carries a line of Power Lift weightlifting equipment. Simply stated, this facility offers an environment for every athlete at any level and any age.

 

Dee PT - Shelburne

Located in the renowned Athletic Club at The FieldHouse , Dee PT - Shelburne offers unlimited treatment options for our patients. We have a private 1,200 square foot clinic within this modern facility.

Patients treated at Dee PT - Shelburne have full access to The Athletic Club and The FieldHouse during each treatment session inclusive of a full sized locker room and steam sauna, a large aerobic equipment and weight lifting area and two 70 x 30 yard indoor artificial turf fields for return-to-play evaluation and treatment.

We continue our relationship and share space with Eric Corey and VASTA in the Shelburne facility using their 1000 square foot team training facility with a full line of Power Lift and functional training equipment.

In addition to all this we offer the renowned Computrainer (Allen Web Page here) cycling testing and training device. Shelburne native, Kevin Bouchard–Hall, Professional Cyclist and winner of the 2004 tour of Georgia: Best Young Rider uses this device throughout his entire training and competition schedule. Kevin works with the Dee PT – Shelburne facility to teach riders the use of the Computrainer. This will evaluate a cyclists Spin Spectrum to determine their most efficient pedal stroke. After the evaluation cyclists can purchase a coupon book and train on the Computrainer to improve their pedaling stroke. Our Computrainer has a fully adjustable bike to allow cyclists the convenience of indoor training on a bike fit just like their own bike.

At Dee PT - Shelburne we are proud to be working with Joey Adams, MS owner of Intelligent Fitness. Joey evaluates hundreds of endurance athletes for their VO2 max, Anaerobic Threshold, Maximal Heart Rate, Resting Metabolic Rate and provides sound training advice to those athletes as well. Using the Treadmill and or the Computrainer, Intelligent Fitness has helped a number of our injured athletes return to full competition with expert advice from Joey Adams, Exercise Physiologist.
